The role being offered is for a Class A CDL Driver with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement, based in Santa Fe Springs, CA, specializing in dry-ice logistics. This position is a union opportunity with the Teamsters and offers a competitive hourly wage of $36.50, paid weekly via direct deposit. Candidates will work a schedule from Saturday to Wednesday starting at 8:00 pm. The delivery routes cover a significant area including San Diego, Palm Springs, Sylmar, Los Angeles, Pixley, and locations in between. In this role, the driver is responsible for delivering dry ice and related products to customers using CDL A dry van trucks and CDL B box trucks, as well as operating tanker trucks for CO2 pickup and delivery. The position includes operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for loading and unloading shipments, ensuring deliveries match the load manifest, and retrieving empty dry ice boxes to be returned to the plant or branch. Drivers are expected to provide excellent customer service, perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections following DOT and company maintenance guidelines, maintain cleanliness and safety standards for their vehicles, and comply with all company policies as well as DOT and OSHA regulations. Physical capability to regularly lift 75 pounds and assist with material handling is required.

Job Requirements
- at least 21 years old
- valid Class A CDL
- two years of verifiable CDL A experience in the last five years
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are required
- no automatic restrictions on license
- manual transmission trucks
- maintain appropriate driver's license, medical card, and endorsements
- no more than two traffic convictions or two at-fault accidents in the last three years or one of each
- no driving under the influence in the last seven years
- able to work in a drug-free environment
- able to regularly lift 75 pounds and move more than 125 pounds with material handling equipment
Job Qualifications
- at least 21 years old
- valid Class A CDL
- two years of verifiable CDL A experience in the last five years

- ability to operate manual transmission trucks
- maintain appropriate driver's license, medical card, and endorsements
- no more than two traffic convictions or at-fault accidents in the last three years

- ability to work in a drug-free environment
- ability to regularly lift 75 pounds and move over 125 pounds with equipment
- mechanical aptitude preferred
- five years tanker experience preferred
Job Duties
- guide CDL A dry van and CDL B box trucks to deliver dry ice to customer locations
- operate forklift, pallet jack, and warehouse equipment to load and unload dry ice
- confirm deliveries with customers and ensure load counts match manifests
- collect empty dry ice boxes for return
- provide excellent customer service and relay customer feedback to management
- perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections according to DOT and company checklists
- maintain vehicle cleanliness and comply with safety, DOT, and OSHA regulations
- secure cargo properly before and during transit
