The Class A Driver role based in Ventura, California, is a vital position within Airgas, offering a unique opportunity for drivers who are safety-conscious, professional, and physically active. This position is full-time, typically requiring a reliable 40-45 hour workweek with consistent Monday through Friday scheduling. The role involves the safe and efficient transportation and delivery of compressed gas cylinders to local and regional business customers, operating from an Airgas branch or plant using company-provided vehicles such as tractor trailers, straight trucks, or box trucks.

Beyond the transportation duties, the driver will engage in hands-on activities including loading and unloading heavy compressed gas cylinders, securing and unsecuring these cylinders safely, and often completing deliveries on customer property using a hand cart. Given the nature of the role, drivers must be prepared for frequent movement in and out of the vehicle, emphasizing the physically demanding and active aspects of this job. Compensation is competitive at $33.00 per hour, with additional incentives such as a $1,000 referral bonus.
