This role is essential in supporting America’s food supply chain by not only transporting goods but also acting as the face of the company in customer interactions, helping to build strong relationships and trust. Employment offers a competitive hourly wage of $26 per hour with a four-day work week from Monday to Friday, including a scheduled day off during the week. Dispatch times start early, typically between 3:00 AM and 6:00 AM, requiring reliability and punctuality from drivers.

Drivers are responsible for conducting safety inspections of trucks and trailers, ensuring freight is securely loaded, and maintaining accurate delivery records. They will handle all aspects of the delivery process including loading and unloading goods, verifying customer orders, handling payments if applicable, and managing paperwork efficiently. Safety is paramount; drivers must promptly report any hazards and vehicle issues, work to prevent product damage, and maintain clean and orderly equipment and work areas.
The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months of commercial driving experience, hold a valid CDL-A license, meet state licensing requirements, and maintain a clean driving record. The job demands physical readiness to handle products that can weigh anywhere from 10 to 90 pounds using equipment like two-wheelers and lift gates.
