The position of Food and Food Service Delivery Driver at Core-Mark is vital to the success of the country’s food supply chain. Delivery drivers play a critical role in ensuring that products reach customers on time and in excellent condition. Beyond the basic duties of transportation and delivery, drivers serve as the face of Core-Mark, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers by providing reliable and professional service. Working a four-day workweek Monday through Friday with a competitive pay rate of $26 per hour, drivers typically dispatch between 3:00 AM and 6:00 AM to efficiently meet delivery schedules. This role involves adhering to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies, performing safety inspections, managing freight accurately, and ensuring compliance with proper documentation and customer verification. Drivers must also handle product returns, damaged goods, and maintain cleanliness and order of their equipment and work area.
