Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED or equivalent
- 6 plus months commercial driving experience
- valid CDL-A
- must be 21 plus years of age
- meet all state licensing and certification requirements where applicable
- clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
- pass road test
- attain or have valid current DOT health card or able to secure new DOT health card
- able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate, and other equipment to move and stack product cases and freight

Job Duties
- perform all required safety checks including pre and post trip inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations
- report all safety issues and repairs required and follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines
- inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
- perform count check of items and check customer invoices of products loaded
- check and complete accurate and legible paperwork associated with freight
- move tractor to loading dock and attach preloaded trailer as needed
- drive to and deliver customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule
- unload products from trailer and transport items into designated customer storage areas
- perform damage control checks on items, scan, and contact supervisor about removing orders
- verify delivery of items with customer and obtain signatures
- collect money where required
- load customer returns onto trailer and secure trailer doors
- ensure tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and secured
- unload damaged goods and customer returns and complete necessary paperwork
- perform daily record of hours of service and enter log according to Federal DOT, state, and company requirements
- perform general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area, and keep trailers clean and clear
- perform other related duties as assigned
