Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid CDL-A license
- Minimum 6 months route delivery experience in a CMV
- Meet all state licensing and certification requirements
- Clean MVR for past 3 years
- Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
- Pass road test
- Attain or have valid DOT Health Card
- Able to hand-lift and use equipment such as two-wheeler and lift gate for moving product cases
- Must be 21 years or older
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- Valid CDL-A license and must be 21 years of age or older
- Minimum of 6 months route delivery experience operating a commercial motor vehicle
- Meet all state licensing and certification requirements as applicable
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years
- Successfully pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
- Pass road test
- Current or able to obtain valid DOT Health Card
- Ability to hand-lift and operate equipment like two-wheeler and lift gate to move/stage products weighing between 10-90 pounds
Job Duties
- Perform all required safety checks including pre and post trip inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations
- Report all safety issues and repairs required
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies
- Immediately report all safety hazards
- Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
- Perform count check of loaded items and verify with customer invoices
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and legibly
- Move tractor to loading dock and attach preloaded trailer as needed
- Drive to and deliver customer orders following predetermined routes and schedules
- Unload products and transport items to designated customer storage areas
- Perform damage control checks and communicate with supervisor regarding order removals
- Verify delivery with customer and obtain proper signatures
- Collect payments when required
- Load customer returns onto the trailer and secure trailer doors
- Ensure tractor, trailer, and freight are locked and secured
- Unload damaged goods and customer returns, complete necessary paperwork
- Perform daily record keeping of hours of service and enter logs according to federal, state, and company requirements
- Maintain cleanliness of tractor, loading dock, and trailers
- Secure all equipment at the end of the shift
- Perform other related duties as assigned
