Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid CDL-A license
- Minimum 6 months of route delivery experience with a commercial motor vehicle
- Clean motor vehicle report for the past 3 years
- Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
- Pass road test
- Attain or have valid current DOT health card
- Ability to hand-lift and use equipment to move product cases of varying sizes and weights
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- Valid CDL-A license
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Minimum 6 months of route delivery experience with a commercial motor vehicle
- Meet all state licensing and certification requirements where applicable
- Clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
- Pass road test
- Attain or maintain a valid DOT health card
- Ability to hand-lift and utilize equipment such as two-wheelers and lift gates to move and stack product cases
Job Duties
- Perform all required safety checks including pre and post-trip inspections
- Inspect tractor/truck and trailer to meet safety standards and report any repairs needed
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving policies
- Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers
- Verify delivery of items with customers and obtain proper signatures
- Load and unload products, handle customer returns and damaged goods
- Complete necessary paperwork accurately including hours of service logs
- Perform general housekeeping duties of equipment and loading areas
- Drive and deliver customer orders according to predetermined routes and schedules
