The Delivery Driver role at Core-Mark is a critical part of the food supply chain, responsible for transporting food and food-service products to customers across varied routes including intrastate, interstate, local, shuttle, overnight, and drive-and-drop operations. Delivery Drivers are more than just drivers—they are the face of Core-Mark to its customers, tasked with building lasting relationships through professional interaction and excellent service. This role is essential in maintaining the integrity of customer deliveries, ensuring that products are delivered safely, on time, and in pristine condition while adhering strictly to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company standards.

In this role, drivers operate tractor-trailers or straight trucks, performing all required safety inspections, verifying loads, ensuring secure freight transport, and handling all necessary paperwork accurately. Drivers are responsible for proper delivery verification, obtaining customer signatures, managing payment collection where applicable, and handling returns or damaged goods with care. The position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team, supporting overall company goals and responding flexibly to a variety of assigned duties.

This position follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 2:00 AM to 12:30 PM, providing consistent hours to support a balanced work life. Core-Mark is committed to maintaining high safety standards and expects its drivers to comply with all DOT regulations while driving responsibly and maintaining equipment in top condition. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL-A license, have relevant route delivery experience, and possess the physical capability to handle the demands of the role such as lifting and moving product cases of various weights.
