With a vast network extending across the United States and more than 40 countries worldwide, PFG Customized Distribution offers centralized contact points for product lines, menu adaptations, and account coordination, ensuring each client receives personalized and efficient service. As part of a dynamic and rapidly growing industry, PFG Customized Distribution commits itself to excellence in logistics and customer care to meet the evolving demands of the food service and hospitality industries.

The Entry Level Driver Trainee role at PFG Customized Distribution is a unique opportunity for individuals looking to embark on a career in commercial driving, especially within the food distribution sector. This position is designed for candidates who possess a CDL – A license and are eager to develop their skills through hands-on training combined with structured programs such as the PFG Entry Level Driver Trainee and Dock to Driver Training programs. Covering intrastate and interstate routes, local deliveries, over-the-road (OTR) assignments, shuttle runs, and overnight hauls, drivers support the company's mission by delivering fresh and quality food products safely and efficiently. The role is paid with a guaranteed minimum weekly salary of $1,400 and offers a flexible work schedule with either 4 or 5 days per week, with early morning dispatch ensuring a work-life balance.

As a Driver Trainee, individuals will undergo comprehensive training that combines practical experience alongside a seasoned driver trainer. This apprenticeship-style learning approach enables trainees to acquire the necessary knowledge and competencies to operate tractor-trailer and straight trucks while adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety standards. The role emphasizes a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer service, requiring trainees to inspect vehicles before and after trips, verify freight integrity, communicate effectively with customers, and maintain detailed documentation. This position is ideal for those who appreciate teamwork and excellence, offering clear pathways for career growth within the company.

PFG Customized Distribution is proud to provide a supportive work environment that values safety, inclusivity, and employee recognition. Drivers enjoy competitive pay paired with comprehensive benefits, including health and wellness coverage starting on day one, an employee stock purchase plan, 401(k) employer matching, education assistance programs, paid time off, and additional perks.
