Job Requirements
- Must have CDL A license
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Meet all state licensing and certification requirements where applicable
- Clean motor vehicle report for past three years
- Pass post offer drug test
- Pass road test
- Attain or have valid current DOT health card
- Able to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move product cases weighing 60 to 90 pounds
- Internal candidates require one year of service in good standing
Job Qualifications

- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Meet all state licensing and certification requirements where applicable

- Able to hand-lift and use equipment to move product cases weighing approximately 60 to 90 pounds
- Internal PFG candidates must have one year of service in good standing
- External driver school direct hires require 0-6 months experience with a CDL license
- External entry level hires require 0-6 months with a CDL license
Job Duties
- Attend and successfully complete the PFG Entry Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program
- Ride with and assist driver trainer in executing deliveries
- Perform all required safety checks including pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations
- Report all safety issues and repairs required
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines
- Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
- Perform count check of items and check customer invoices of loaded products
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and legibly
- Drive to and deliver customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule
- Unload products from trailer and transport items to designated customer storage areas
- Perform damage control checks on items and contact supervisor regarding order removals
- Verify delivery items with customers and obtain proper signatures
- Collect money when required
- Load customer returns onto trailer and secure trailer doors
- Ensure tractor, trailer, and freight are locked and secured
- Unload damaged goods and customer returns and complete necessary paperwork
- Perform daily record of hours of service and log accordingly
- Maintain cleanliness in tractor, loading dock, and trailers
- Secure all equipment and finalize paperwork at end of shift
- Perform other related duties as assigned
