Physical demands are significant and include frequently standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally heavier loads up to 100 pounds, as well as pushing and pulling heavy hand trucks. The environment includes exposure to outdoor weather conditions and hazards such as moving vehicles, equipment, slippery surfaces, and exhaust fumes.

Successful candidates should have a safe driving record and be able to obtain a CDL learner's permit within two months of employment and the Class A CDL license within six months. Additionally, a Medical Card must be acquired within two months. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Strong communication skills in English, the ability to perform simple mathematical calculations, and a reliable work ethic are essential. Background checks and pre-employment drug screening are required to ensure safety and compliance.
