The Position is designed for a Driver - Hourly who will be responsible for transporting food and food-related products safely and efficiently. The core responsibility of this Delivery Driver role is to ensure the products reach customers on predetermined schedules and in the right condition. Their duties also include verifying manifested products, accurately completing delivery documentation, and maintaining clean and secure equipment.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- 6+ months commercial driving experience
- Valid CDL-A license
- Must be 21+ years of age
- Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements where applicable
- Clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
- Pass road test
- Attain or have valid current DOT health card or able to secure new DOT health card
- Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate, and other equipment to move and stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Performs all required safety checks including pre/post trip inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations
- Reports all safety issues and repairs required
- Follows all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies
- Performs count check of items and check customer invoices of products that have been loaded
- Checks and completes all required paperwork associated with freight accurately and legibly
- Moves tractor to the loading dock and attaches preloaded trailer as needed
- Drives to and delivers customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule
- Unloads products from the trailer, transports items into designated customer storage areas
- Performs damage control checks on items, scans, and contacts supervisor about removing orders according to company policy
- Verifies delivery of items with customer and obtains proper signatures
- Collects money where required
- Loads customer returns onto trailer and secures trailer doors
- Ensures tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and secured
- Unloads damaged goods and customer returns and completes necessary paperwork
- Completes daily record of hours of service and enters in log in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements
- Performs general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area, and keeps trailers clear and clean as required
- Secures all equipment and completes necessary paperwork at the end of the shift
- Performs other related duties as assigned
