This position offers competitive compensation, with first-year pay ranging from $69,000 to $75,000, inclusive of base hourly wage, components, and overtime, structured around a favorable 4-day workweek from Tuesday to Friday. The role features a 4:00 a.m. day shift start, home daily routes, and consistent three-day weekends (Saturday through Monday), supporting work-life balance for employees. Your primary purpose will be to deliver and unload food and food-related products safely and efficiently, adhering strictly to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Attention to safety protocols is paramount, including performing mandatory pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing freight, and ensuring all paperwork is accurate and legible. Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid CDL-A license
  • Minimum 6 months of commercial driving experience
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Meet all state licensing/certification requirements
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report for last 3 years
  • Pass drug test and criminal background check
  • Pass driving road test
  • Possess or obtain a DOT Health Card
  • Ability to handle physical demands including lifting 10-90 pounds and using equipment to move products

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
  • 6 plus months commercial driving experience
  • Valid CDL-A
  • Must be 21 plus years of age
  • Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements where applicable
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report for past 3 years
  • Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
  • Pass road test
  • Attain or have valid current DOT Health Card or able to secure new DOT Health Card
  • Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate or other equipment to move/stack product cases/freight up to approximately 60-90 pounds

Job Duties

  • Perform all required safety checks including pre/post trip inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to Department of Transportation regulations
  • Report all safety issues and repairs required
  • Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies
  • Perform count check of items and check customer invoices of loaded products
  • Check and complete all required paperwork associated with freight accurately
  • Drive to and deliver customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule
  • Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures
