The Driver - Hourly role at Core-Mark plays a vital part in the country’s food supply chain by ensuring that food and food service products are delivered safely, timely, and in good condition. This position involves operating a tractor trailer or straight truck on local and interstate routes while adhering to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety protocols. Drivers are the face of Core-Mark to its customers and are responsible for building strong relationships by providing professional and courteous service. The role offers a unique and attractive work schedule, including a four-day work week (Tuesday to Friday), with day shift starting at 4:00 am, a local route allowing drivers to be home daily, and a three-day weekend from Saturday to Monday. With an annual merit increase, first-year pay ranging between $69,000 to $75,000 including base hourly, components, and overtime, this position promises competitive compensation.

The Driver - Hourly carries out essential duties such as pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, loading and unloading products, performing damage checks, handling customer payments, and completing all documentation accurately.
