The Driver - Hourly position at Core-Mark is an essential role in America's food distribution system, responsible for delivering food and related products safely and efficiently. This role offers a competitive pay structure, with starting wages between $69K-75K, which includes base pay, component pay, and overtime, all within a 4-day workweek (Tuesday-Friday). Employees benefit from a home-daily schedule, starting early with a 4:30 AM shift, a set daily schedule without dispatch, and local dedicated routes, making it an appealing opportunity for individuals seeking work-life balance.

Drivers act as the face of Core-Mark, building and maintaining strong customer relationships by providing reliable, timely delivery service. Drivers are expected to use equipment like lift gates and two-wheelers to handle products, which can vary in weight from 10 to 90 pounds.

In addition to safe driving and product delivery, Core-Mark's drivers perform general housekeeping duties and maintenance inside their tractor or truck and at loading docks to ensure operational efficiency and safety. This role also involves financial responsibility, such as collecting payments when required and processing returns, emphasizing trustworthiness and attention to detail.
