In this role, the driver will be responsible for operating tractor trailers or straight trucks within intrastate and interstate local, over-the-road, shuttle, overnight, and drive-and-drop routes. The position involves delivering food and food-related products safely and efficiently, adhering to Department of Transportation regulations, and ensuring goods arrive in excellent condition on predetermined schedules. Drivers must conduct thorough safety checks on vehicles and freight, complete associated paperwork accurately, and perform any necessary unloading and loading duties. Additional benefits of this position include a home-daily schedule with Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays off, along with a competitive wage bracket of $68,000 to $72,000 annually based on a 4-day workweek that includes base pay and overtime.
