We are currently seeking dedicated and skilled CDL-A Drivers to join our team and play a vital role in the country’s food supply chain. The CDL-A Driver position involves operating tractor trailers or straight trucks on various routes including intrastate, interstate, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, overnight, and drive-and-drop routes. The primary responsibility is delivering food and related products safely and on time, while adhering strictly to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies. Drivers are expected to conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety standards and report any issues promptly. The role demands excellent communication skills as drivers serve as the face of the company when interacting with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
This position offers competitive pay starting at a minimum of $350 per day with work schedules of 4-5 days per week, based on business needs, and shifts averaging 10-12 hours. There are no Sunday shifts required, providing a better work-life balance. The dispatch window typically falls between 12 AM and 5 AM depending on the assigned route, and days off are split. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Valid CDL-A license
- Meet all state licensing and or certification requirements where applicable
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
- Pass road test
- Valid current DOT health card or able to secure new DOT health card
- Ability to hand-lift and use equipment to move and stack product cases and freight

Job Duties
- Perform all required safety checks including pre and post-trip inspections of tractor, truck, and trailer according to DOT regulations
- Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight and perform count check of items
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies
- Report any safety hazards or repairs needed
- Ensure tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and secured at all times
- Unload damaged goods and customer returns and complete necessary paperwork
- Comply with daily record-keeping and hours of service requirements
- Uphold overall safety standards and procedures during delivery
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Comply with all company policies and standards
