The role of a Delivery Truck Driver at US Foods is a vital position that directly impacts the company’s success by ensuring customers receive quality products on time. As a Delivery Truck Driver, you will be responsible for picking up and delivering foodservice products including meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies to customers’ locations. This role is essential in maintaining the trusted reputation of US Foods by delivering best-in-class customer service through punctuality, professionalism, and care in handling products. US Foods compensates drivers with a competitive hourly wage starting at $27.11 during training and additional incentives based on mileage, cases, and stops after training completion. Paid training and overtime further enhance the total compensation package. The company values integrity and reliability in its drivers, who serve as important faces of the brand and customer relations. Employee rewards, service recognition, tuition reimbursement, and excellent leadership support contribute to an engaging and rewarding work environment. By joining US Foods as a Delivery Truck Driver, you become part of a community that respects and rewards dedication, offers substantial benefits, and provides plenty of growth potential within a nationally recognized leader in food distribution.
