As a US Foods Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating trucks to deliver food products to customers at scheduled times. This involves more than just driving; it requires careful unloading of merchandise using equipment like two-wheelers or pallet jacks, verifying delivery accuracy, and obtaining necessary signatures to ensure a smooth transaction. Customer service is a key aspect of the job, as Drivers represent US Foods in the field, fostering trust and positive relationships with clients. Additionally, you will perform important pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety and compliance standards.

Physical stamina and resilience are essential for this role, given the requirement to lift, carry, push, or pull loads ranging from 20 to over 80 pounds repeatedly during a shift. Drivers must also be prepared to work in various weather conditions, often making 10 or more stops per day. Candidates need to be at least 21 years old, possess a valid CDL Class A with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications, and have a minimum of six months of commercial driving experience, or three months if previously driving in food or beverage delivery. Registered with the FMCSA Clearinghouse is mandatory for all drivers to ensure compliance with federal regulations.

In return, the company provides a supportive work environment, ongoing training, and opportunities for career advancement.
