Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

  • Possess a clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
  • Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
  • Ability to pass road test
  • Obtain or currently hold a valid DOT Health Card
  • Ability to hand-lift product cases typically weighing between 10 and 90 pounds using equipment such as two-wheelers or lift gates
  • Willingness to work a 4 day work week with a 5:00 AM start time

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
  • One or more years of commercial driving experience
  • Valid CDL-A license

  • Meets all state licensing and/or certification requirements where applicable
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report for past 3 years
  • Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
  • Pass road test
  • Attain or have valid current DOT Health Card

Job Duties

  • Perform all required DOT safety checks including pre/post trip inspections of tractor/truck and trailer
  • Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies
  • Report all safety hazards immediately
  • Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
  • Perform count check of items and verify customer invoices and complete all required freight paperwork accurately
  • Move tractor to loading dock and attach preloaded trailer as needed
  • Drive and deliver customer orders according to predetermined route schedule and unload products into designated customer storage areas
  • Perform damage control checks on items and obtain proper delivery signatures from customers
  • Collect payments when required
  • Load customer returns onto trailer and secure trailer doors
  • Unload damaged goods and customer returns, complete necessary paperwork
  • Complete daily hours of service records and logs according to Federal DOT and company requirements
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in tractor and loading dock areas
  • Secure all equipment and complete paperwork at end of shift
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
