The Food and Food Service Delivery Driver role at Core-Mark is critical to the company’s mission to ensure efficient and timely delivery of food products to customers. As a driver, you will operate tractor-trailers or straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes, encompassing local, shuttle, and overnight journeys. You will be responsible not only for the safe transportation and delivery of goods but also serve as the face of Core-Mark by establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers. This position requires strict adherence to Department of Transportation regulations and company safety policies, with a strong focus on safety checks, freight handling, and accurate record-keeping. Drivers will also handle customer interactions professionally, managing paperwork, verifying deliveries, collecting payments if needed, and ensuring freight is secure at all times.

Core-Mark’s delivery drivers work a Tuesday through Saturday schedule with AM or PM shifts, offering the opportunity to be home daily. The position offers competitive compensation with potential earnings of up to $95,000 per year. Responsibilities extend beyond driving to include inspection and maintenance duties such as performing pre- and post-trip safety inspections, reporting safety hazards, and ensuring the tractor, trailer, and freight meet all safety standards. Drivers unload products, manage damage control, load returns, and complete all related paperwork in a timely and accurate manner. The role demands physical capability including hand-lifting and use of equipment like two-wheelers and lift gates to handle freight weighing from 10 to 90 pounds depending on location.
