Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- 6 or more months commercial driving experience
- Valid CDL-A license
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements where applicable
- Clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
- Pass road test
- Attain or possess a valid current DOT Health Card or be able to secure a new DOT Health Card
- Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying sizes and weights

Job Duties
- Perform all required safety checks including pre/post trip inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations
- Inspect tractor/truck and trailer to ensure they meet company safety standards and report any safety issues or repairs needed
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving policies and immediately report safety hazards
- Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
- Perform count checks of items and verify customer invoices
- Complete all required paperwork related to freight accurately and legibly
- Move tractor to loading dock and attach preloaded trailer as necessary
- Drive to and deliver customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedules
- Unload products from trailer and transport items into designated customer storage areas
- Perform damage control checks on items, scan products, and contact supervisors about order removals as per company policy
- Verify delivery of items with customers and obtain proper signatures
- Collect payments where required
- Load customer returns onto trailer and secure trailer doors
- Ensure tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and secured at all times
- Unload damaged goods and customer returns, complete necessary paperwork
- Unload all equipment, materials, and remove trash from trailers as required
- Complete daily records of hours of service and enter logs according to Federal DOT, state, and company requirements
- Perform general housekeeping duties in tractor and loading dock areas and secure equipment at shift end
- Perform other related duties as assigned
