Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- Valid CDL-A license and must be 21 years or older
- Minimum 1 year of route delivery experience in a commercial motor vehicle (CMV)
- Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements where applicable
- Clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for past 3 years
- Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
- Pass road test
- Attains or has valid current DOT health card and/or able to secure new DOT health card
- Able to hand-lift and use two-wheeler, lift gate, or other equipment to move and stack product cases and freight of varying size and weight throughout the shift

Job Duties
- Performs all required safety checks including pre/post trip inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations
- Reports all safety issues and repairs required following DOT regulations and company policies
- Inspects trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
- Performs count check of items and checks customer invoices of products loaded
- Checks and completes accurate and legible paperwork associated with freight
- Moves tractor to loading dock and attaches preloaded trailer as needed
- Drives to and delivers customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule
- Unloads products from trailer and transports items into designated customer storage areas
- Performs damage control checks on items, scans, and contacts supervisor about removing orders per company policy
- Verifies delivery of items with customer and obtains proper signatures
- Collects money where required
- Loads customer returns onto trailer and secures trailer doors
- Ensures tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and secured
- Unloads damaged goods and customer returns and completes necessary paperwork
- Performs general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area, and keeps trailers clean
- Completes daily record of hours of service and logs according to Federal DOT, state, and company requirements
- Performs other related duties as assigned
