Job Requirements
- high school diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- valid CDL-A license
- must be 21 years of age or older
- 6 plus months of CMV driving experience
- meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements where applicable
- clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
- pass road test
- attains or has valid current DOT Health Card or able to secure new DOT Health Card
- able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma/GED or equivalent experience

- 6 plus months of commercial motor vehicle (CMV) driving experience
- meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements where applicable
- clean motor vehicle report for the past 3 years
- pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
- pass road test
- attains or has valid current DOT Health Card or able to secure new DOT Health Card
- able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift
Job Duties
- performs all required safety checks including pre/post trip inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations
- inspects tractor/truck and trailer to ensure they meet company safety standards and take appropriate action as needed
- reports all safety issues and repairs required
- follows all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies
- immediately reports all safety hazards
- inspects trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
- performs count check of items and checks customer invoices of products that have been loaded
- checks and completes all required paperwork associated with freight accurately and legibly
- moves tractor to the loading dock and attaches the preloaded trailer as needed
- drives to and delivers customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule
- unloads products from the trailer and transports items into designated customer storage areas
- performs damage control checks on items, scans and contacts supervisor about removing orders according to company policy
- verifies delivery of items with customer and obtains proper signatures
- collects money where required
- loads customer returns onto trailer and secures trailer doors
- ensures that tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and secured
- unloads damaged goods and customer returns, brings them to driver check-in and completes necessary paperwork
- unloads all equipment, materials and removes trash from trailers as required
- completes daily record of hours of service and enters log in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements
- performs general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area and keeps trailers clear and clean as required
- secures all equipment and completes all necessary paperwork at shift end
- performs other related duties as assigned
