Job Requirements
- must be 21 or older
- valid CDL-A license
- minimum 12 months foodservice or beverage route delivery experience in a Class A vehicle
- meet all state licensing and certification requirements where applicable
- clean motor vehicle record for past 3 years
- pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
- pass road test
- valid current DOT Health Card or ability to secure new one
- able to hand-lift weights generally ranging from 10-35 pounds and up to 60-90 pounds depending on location
- willing to work Monday through Friday with dispatch times between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM
Job Qualifications
- valid CDL-A license

- current or obtainable valid DOT Health Card
- physically able to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move and stack product cases and freight
Job Duties
- perform all required safety checks including pre and post trip inspections of tractor truck and trailer according to DOT regulations
- inspect tractor truck and trailer to ensure they meet company safety standards and report all safety issues or repairs required
- follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies
- inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
- perform count check of items and verify customer invoices of loaded products
- check and complete all required paperwork associated with freight in an accurate and legible fashion
- drive to and deliver customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule
- unload products from the trailer and transport items to designated customer storage areas
- perform damage control checks on items, scan and notify supervisor about order removals according to company policy
- verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures
- collect payments where required
- load customer returns on trailer and secure trailer doors
- unload damaged goods and customer returns and complete necessary paperwork
- complete daily record of hours of service and enter log according to federal DOT, state and company requirements
- perform general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area and keep trailers clear and clean as required
- secure all equipment and complete paperwork at end of shift
