The role offered is a Delivery Driver position crucial to the success of America’s food supply chain. Delivery drivers at Core-Mark have the essential responsibility of ensuring that food and food-related products are transported and delivered to customers safely, timely, and in excellent condition. This role involves driving tractor-trailers or straight trucks on a variety of routes including local, shuttle, overnight, and interstate assignments. Delivery drivers act as key representatives of the company, building strong, lasting relationships with customers through professional communication and dependable service. Working conditions prioritize safety and compliance, requiring the drivers to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, adhere strictly to Department of Transportation regulations, and maintain accurate and legible paperwork related to their freight. Delivery drivers will be responsible for loading and unloading freight, securing products within trailers, verifying customer deliveries, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in both their vehicles and work areas. The job follows a schedule from Tuesday to Saturday with options for AM and PM shifts, and provides the benefit of being home daily, promoting an optimal work-life balance.

This opportunity suits individuals who possess a valid CDL-A license, have at least one year of route delivery experience in Commercial Motor Vehicles, and maintain a clean motor vehicle report with no significant infractions in the past three years. Candidates must successfully pass drug tests, criminal background checks, and road tests as part of the hiring process. Physical demands include the ability to hand-lift and handle product cases weighing up to 90 pounds and skills in operating equipment such as two-wheelers and lift gates. Holding a current DOT Health Card or the ability to secure one is also required.
