Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is a leading U.S. supplier of industrial, medical, and specialty gases, as well as hardgoods and related products. It is one of the largest U.S. suppliers of safety products and a leader in supplying ammonia products and process chemicals. With a dedicated workforce of approximately 18,000 associates, Airgas fosters a culture emphasizing safety, customer success, sustainability, and innovation. The company empowers its employees by encouraging idea sharing, initiatives, and decision-making processes to contribute to its ongoing success.

Airgas is a subsidiary of Air Liquide, a global leader in gases, technologies, and services for industry and healthcare, operating in 60 countries with roughly 66,500 employees. Air Liquide serves over 4 million customers and patients worldwide, ensuring that Airgas employees work within a reputable and stable organization with international reach.

The company is currently hiring for a Class A CDL Delivery Driver position based in Commerce City, Colorado. This role is vital for supporting Airgas' nationwide dry ice logistics operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of dry ice and related products to various customers, including universities, laboratories, and industrial clients. The driver will operate CDL A trucks equipped with lift gates and advanced technology such as On Board Computers, collision avoidance, and camera systems. The position promises a competitive starting pay rate of $32 per hour with a typical work schedule starting between 4 AM and 5 AM, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend shifts, averaging about 45 to 48 hours per week.

The route covers a service area from Cheyenne, Wyoming, to Parker, Pueblo, Bennett, and surrounding areas, with the flexibility to support broader network needs. Drivers play a crucial role in the customer experience by ensuring deliveries are accurate, collecting empty boxes for returns, and providing excellent customer service. Additionally, this role involves pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to maintain truck health, safety compliance in line with DOT and OSHA regulations, and securing cargo safely during transport.

Airgas values diversity and inclusivity, fostering a workplace that respects, honors, and values the unique perspectives of its employees and community. The company offers a secure, supportive work environment with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, and disability insurance, along with family support such as up to 14 weeks of paid childbirth leave. Employees enjoy future security with a 401(k) retirement plan featuring company match, tuition assistance, paid holidays, vacation, and sick time. Benefits kick in early, starting just 30 days after employment begins.

Ideal candidates should possess a valid Class A CDL with airbrake endorsements, a clean driving record with limited traffic violations, and the ability to work in a drug-free environment. Experience or interest in operating forklifts and warehouse equipment is preferred. The role requires physical capability to handle lifting up to 75 pounds and moving heavier loads with equipment assistance. Drivers will be supported by modern fleets and advanced technology, emphasizing safety and operational efficiency.

Joining Airgas means becoming part of a team that values safety, customer satisfaction, innovation, and a commitment to the community. Potential candidates will find career growth opportunities in a company that emphasizes employee well-being and inclusive culture in a dynamic and evolving industry environment.
