The Class A Driver at MedTrans, based in Oklahoma City, OK, is an essential position focused on operating Class A vehicles to transport vital medical products locally. This is a home-daily position with an evening start, offering a competitive hourly rate of $27.25. Candidates with experience in touch freight and willingness to travel to other domiciles as needed will find an ideal opportunity here. Though not mandatory, having a doubles endorsement and relevant experience is considered a plus. The driver is responsible for building positive customer relationships through timely, accurate, and safe deliveries. Responsibilities include loading and securing products at the Medline facility, operating the vehicle safely according to all company and regulatory standards, unloading and delivering products at multiple customer locations, and providing in-person support during deliveries.

The role requires diligent communication with the dispatch team to manage schedules efficiently and to ensure the highest level of service and safety compliance. Drivers maintain detailed travel and cargo logs as per Federal and State regulations and company policy and perform regular vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards.   • Class A CDL license
  • ability to meet Federal and State requirements for operation of commercial motor vehicles
  • clean driving record with no serious violations

Job Duties

  • load and secure product from the Medline facility into a truck
  • safely operate a Class A vehicle between the Medline facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route
  • abide by Medline's safety regulations including wearing safety equipment and performing safety checks
  • unload and deliver product at customer facilities ensuring timely deliveries
  • provide in-person support to the customer addressing questions and needs and providing appropriate documentation
  • communicate with dispatch regarding adjustments to delivery route or schedule
  • maintain a travel and cargo log according to Federal and State regulations and company policy
  • perform vehicle inspection to ensure safe operation and sufficient fuel levels
