Job Requirements
- 6 months of recent verifiable experience or 3 years in the last 10 years
- Truck must be Port Compliant
- All pages of the medical certificate
- Valid commercial driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to operate tractor-trailers and flatbeds
Job Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of route planning and navigation techniques
- Ability to operate various types of trucks including tractor-trailers and flatbeds
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
Job Duties
- Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling of materials
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage and fuel usage
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure they are in good working condition
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules
