CPC Logistics is currently seeking qualified Flex Class A local drivers for a client operating in Fontana, CA. This employment opportunity offers drivers the chance to work part-time, approximately 2-3 days per week, delivering dry food items to stores and warehouses within the local area. Drivers will experience a dynamic yet manageable schedule, with start times ranging between 7 AM and 11 AM and the benefit of returning home daily, making this role ideal for those seeking a stable work-life balance.

This position involves touch freight delivery that requires the use of a pallet jack to handle cargo effectively. Applicants must have experience with manual transmissions, although those who are also comfortable with automatic vehicles are encouraged to apply as there is no automatic transmission restriction. A notable feature of this role is the weekly pay schedule, which offers consistent and timely compensation. Overtime pay is also available for hours worked over 40 per week, providing earning potential for those interested in additional shifts.

Safety and compliance are core aspects of this role, with all drivers required to meet Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations rigorously. The position mandates a minimum of 24 months of recent (within the last three years) verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience to ensure that all candidates are well-prepared to navigate the demands of this job. Additionally, candidates must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry products weighing up to 50 pounds, reinforcing the physical nature of delivery responsibilities.

CPC Logistics supports equal employment opportunities and encourages applications from women and individuals of diverse backgrounds to maintain its inclusive workforce. Applicants will need to provide a comprehensive 10-year work history when filling out the DOT application to meet regulatory standards and facilitate application processing. This thorough documentation contributes to a smooth onboarding process and ensures adherence to all necessary legal requirements.

This role offers more than just a job-it offers a pathway to a fulfilling career in local driving with a respected company that values its drivers’ well-being and professionalism.
