Job Description

CPC Logistics is a reputable logistics and transportation company that provides dedicated staffing operations based in Stockton, California. Specializing in efficient and timely delivery services, CPC Logistics supports the movement of goods with a focus on high-quality customer service and operational excellence. As a leader in the logistics industry, CPC Logistics is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace, offering excellent employment opportunities for professional drivers who value reliability and consistency in their career.

This particular role at CPC Logistics targets Class A CDL drivers for local refrigerated (Reefer) deliveries, tailored to serve grocery stores across key California regions including Stockton, Sacramento, Modesto, and the Bay Area. The position is a full-time, weekday role with weekend commitments, providing a steady schedule from Wednesday through Sunday. The shifts begin early at 3 AM, designed for morning deliveries to grocery stores, ensuring fresh and timely supply chain operations. The hourly wage for this role is competitive at $28.84, accompanied by weekly pay to maintain financial consistency for employees.

Drivers in this position will operate 48 to 53-foot refrigerated trailers equipped with liftgates, handling valuable freight and ensuring it is delivered safely and promptly. The role involves active interaction with freight, requiring drivers to be physically capable of offloading goods at customer locations. Daily routes include multiple stops averaging between 5 to 10 delivery points, demanding excellent time management skills and the ability to navigate local routes efficiently. Drivers must meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements and maintain compliance with safety regulations throughout their tenure.

This role is ideal for drivers with between one to two years of recent tractor trailer delivery experience who are seeking stable local work with a reputable employer. CPC Logistics emphasizes the importance of professional growth, adherence to high standards of safety, and respectful treatment of goods and customers. The company also prioritizes work-life balance by providing home daily routes, limiting long-haul absences.

Additionally, CPC Logistics values candidates who are willing to work weekends, highlighting the essential nature of weekend operations within their business model. The company offers a structured, supportive work environment and promotes clear communication lines with human resources and management, evidenced by the open invitation to contact them with any questions at a given contact number.

Overall, CPC Logistics presents a great opportunity for Class A CDL drivers who want reliable, local delivery work with strong pay and consistent scheduling. The company’s commitment to diversity and equal opportunity further enhances its attractiveness as an employer in the competitive logistics sector.
