The role available is for a Driver - Hourly with Core-Mark. This position is essential in supporting America's food supply chain by ensuring timely and safe delivery of food and foodservice products. Drivers play a pivotal role as the face of the company, helping to build and maintain strong relationships with customers. The role offers competitive compensation with a first-year pay potential of up to $75,000, including hourly and overtime pay, all within a convenient four-day Monday to Thursday workweek. Drivers benefit from a three-day weekend every week, ensuring work-life balance. The night shift operates typically from 7:30 pm to 6:30 am, with routes shuttling between Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Carroll, Iowa.

Drivers in this role are responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers on intrastate and interstate routes, delivering and unloading food products in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. They are accountable for conducting mandatory safety checks before and after trips, ensuring that all vehicles meet company and DOT safety standards. Accurate documentation and communication with vendors and co-workers are crucial for smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Additional duties include loading and securing customer returns, completing required paperwork, unloading damaged goods, and general maintenance like cleaning tractors and trailer areas.
