Job Description
Koch Trucking is a dynamic and well-established transportation company and one of the six divisions that make up Koch Companies, which offers a comprehensive range of transportation services including truckload freight hauling, logistics, warehousing, and truck/trailer leasing. As a reputable leader in the industry, Koch Companies has been recognized for its inclusive work culture and operational excellence, notably being named a 2025 Top Company for Women to Work for in Transportation by the Women in Trucking Association and a Top 200 Workplace by the Minneapolis Star Tribune. With a commitment to quality service and employee satisfaction, Koch Trucking continually invests in its workforce by offering state-of-the-art equipment, excellent benefits, and extensive training for its drivers.
Koch Trucking’s flatbed division is actively seeking Class A CDL drivers to join their expanding fleet. This role is an excellent opportunity for experienced flatbed drivers as well as those new to flatbed trucking, as Koch provides additional specialized training during orientation to ensure every driver is well-prepared and confident before they hit the road. The company operates modern flatbed trucks and focuses on hauling oversized air conditioner units on round-trip assignments, which provides drivers with consistent, steady miles and the potential to maximize earnings. Drivers in this division can expect an average annual earning of approximately $88,000, with top performers making as much as $98,000. Starting pay is $0.64 per mile, supplemented by various pay incentives such as stop pay, securement pay, tarp pay, over-dimensional pay, and bonuses for loaded border crossings.
In addition to competitive pay, Koch Trucking supports their drivers' well-being with a generous benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, a 401K plan with company match, paid time off starting on the first day, and three floating holidays annually. Every driver receives an all-expenses-paid orientation at luxury hotels in Roseville, MN, or Appling, GA, along with free state-of-the-art tools such as iPads with data packages to stay connected with family and friends on the road. The fleet consists of late-model trucks averaging only 16 months old, equipped with driver-friendly amenities such as refrigerators, leather interiors, double curtain wraps, double bunks, and built-in inverters.
Koch Trucking also fosters a supportive community atmosphere by offering additional perks like a drivers lounge with complimentary personal care products and food, a pet policy, a rider policy, and 24/7/365 roadside assistance. The company is committed to attracting a diverse workforce and encourages experienced company drivers, owner-operators, military veterans, and women to apply. Koch Trucking emphasizes a stable and rewarding career for qualified CDL-A drivers ready to advance their careers with a reliable and respected trucking company operating a modern flatbed fleet.
