With a rich heritage backed by over 90 years of combined senior management experience, Shoreline has established itself as a dependable and innovative player in the transportation industry. The company is dedicated to safety, driver satisfaction, and operational excellence, ensuring that both clients and employees receive the highest level of service and support. Shoreline’s fleet features state-of-the-art tractors and trailers equipped with satellite tracking systems that allow for pinpoint real-time load tracking, enhancing safety and logistical efficiency.

Currently, Shoreline Transportation is expanding its team by hiring dedicated local and regional CDL Class A drivers for routes between Baton Rouge and New Orleans/Harahan. These positions offer drivers the opportunity to come home daily while working full-time shifts of 10-14 hours during the day. The company operates Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays and holidays, making it ideal for drivers seeking a consistent schedule and work-life balance. This role emphasizes safety and driver satisfaction as the company’s number one priority, with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits that reflect the value Shoreline places on its workforce.

In this critical role, the CDL driver will manage local shuttle routes delivering freight efficiently and safely. Drivers will operate 2026 model automatic Volvo trucks, renowned for their reliability, modern features, and comfort—significantly enhancing the driving experience. Shoreline offers competitive pay ranging from $65,000 to $75,000 annually, along with a generous $5,000 sign-on bonus and additional referral bonuses, providing strong financial incentives for motivated professionals. Beyond compensation, the company provides health, dental, vision, and life insurance plans, paid holidays, paid vacation time, and a 401(k) retirement plan, ensuring drivers enjoy both financial security and work-life benefits.

Shoreline is committed to creating an inclusive environment and encourages individuals with criminal records to apply, reflecting its belief in second chances and diversity. The company’s dedication to its employees’ welfare extends beyond compensation and benefits, focusing on operating new equipment, a supportive management team, and a safe, respectful workplace culture.

Overall, this position is an excellent opportunity for experienced CDL drivers who seek local routes with predictable schedules, a supportive and safety-focused employer, and comprehensive benefits that support a healthy work-life balance.
