This position is for a Food and Food Service Delivery Driver, a crucial role responsible for maintaining the reliability of America’s food supply chain. Drivers at Core-Mark are the face of the company, serving not only as delivery professionals but also as ambassadors who build enduring relationships with customers. The role involves operating tractor-trailers and straight trucks across intrastate and interstate routes including local deliveries, over-the-road (OTR), overnight, shuttle, and drive and drop routes. Drivers must ensure that products arrive safely, on time, and in excellent condition while adhering strictly to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety standards. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position with dispatch starting at 4:00 AM and offers a competitive annual salary of $90,000 plus benefits.

The responsibilities of the position include conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections of the tractor/truck and trailer, reporting safety issues or repair needs promptly, verifying secure loading of freight, and performing accurate count checks and invoice verifications. Drivers must complete all required paperwork meticulously, handle loading and unloading tasks, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Additionally, they must verify deliveries with customers, collect payments if necessary, and ensure secure transportation and delivery of goods. This role demands physical stamina, including the ability to lift and maneuver product cases typically ranging from 10 to 90 pounds with the use of equipment such as two-wheelers and lift gates. A valid CDL-A license, a clean driving record, and compliance with DOT health and safety requirements are mandatory.
