This particular role is for a licensed CDL Class A Driver, a vital position within the company’s local delivery operation. This position involves operating delivery vehicles to transport building materials securely and efficiently from the warehouse to various job sites. The shift is scheduled Monday through Friday, with working hours from 5:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., emphasizing a local route with no over-the-road travel requirements. This role is physically demanding and requires the driver to unload and stock materials on-site, often collaborating with coworkers. Responsibilities include overseeing safe loading practices to ensure order accuracy and product quality and supervising unloading at delivery locations while maintaining site safety.

The CDL Driver will be trained and expected to operate specialized equipment such as booms, cranes, or Gradalls, depending on customer needs, and must ensure that all delivered products are neatly placed and organized. Additionally, this role encompasses some warehouse duties, including loading and unloading tasks. The ideal candidate will be physically capable of lifting heavy materials, standing for long periods, and performing tasks that require bending, reaching, and climbing. Experience with flatbed trucks, drywall booms, straight trucks, and having crane certification is considered a plus.
