Job Description
ABC Supply Interiors is a prominent specialty distributor of drywall, ceiling tiles, steel framing, and various building materials that serve the needs of both commercial and residential contractors. As a company, ABC Supply Interiors blends the vast resources and capabilities of a national distributor with the personalized service that is often found in smaller, locally owned businesses. This combination allows ABC Supply Interiors to offer both extensive product availability and exceptional customer service tailored to each client’s unique requirements. With a strong reputation in the construction supply industry, ABC Supply Interiors is recognized for reliability, efficiency, and quality in delivering essential building materials to job sites throughout their service area.
The available CDL Driver position at ABC Supply Interiors provides a rewarding local opportunity for licensed commercial drivers who are committed to safety, precision, and professionalism in delivery services. This role is a full-time, Monday through Friday position with work hours from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM plus the potential for overtime, offering a stable schedule and competitive pay between $27 and $30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Unlike over-the-road driving positions, this role focuses solely on local deliveries, enabling drivers to return home daily and foster a strong connection with the company and the customers they serve.
As a CDL Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all deliveries are conducted safely, efficiently, and according to customer specifications. From loading and securing orders in the warehouse to overseeing safe unloading and accurate placement of materials at job sites, your attention to detail and commitment to safe practices will be paramount. The role involves driving and operating delivery vehicles, including flatbed and boom trucks, and occasionally using cranes or Gradalls when necessary. Physical strength and stamina are also essential, as drivers will assist with unloading and positioning heavy materials weighing up to 250 pounds with assistance. Additionally, the job requires adherence to all traffic laws, regulatory requirements, and company safety standards, emphasizing a culture of safety as a top priority.
ABC Supply Interiors values professionalism, teamwork, and dedication. This position is an excellent opportunity for CDL drivers who seek a stable career with a respected company that rewards safe driving and delivery excellence. Career advancement and additional certifications, such as crane operation, are encouraged and supported within the organization. The company also offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the health, financial security, and work-life balance of its employees.
