The CDL-A Truck Driver role within Performance Food Group is a critical position that contributes directly to the country’s food supply chain. These drivers ensure that customers receive their food and food-related products safely, on time, and in excellent condition. Operating either tractor trailers or straight trucks across intrastate and interstate routes, this position involves local deliveries as well as over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, overnight, and drive-and-drop routes. The job schedule is designed for a Monday through Friday early morning start, with no nights or weekend work, catering to local routes and overall work-life balance.

This is a full-time position offering a competitive annual salary starting at $75,000 or more in the first year, complemented by a $7,500 hiring bonus subject to eligibility terms. This job opportunity is ideal for individuals who are at least 21 years old, possess a valid CDL-A license with a clean motor vehicle record spanning the last three years, and are capable of lifting and handling freight ranging typically between 10 to 90 pounds. Successful candidates must also pass a road test, post-offer drug test, criminal background check, and hold or be able to obtain a current DOT health card.
