This job opportunity is for a CDL Driver, a critical role within ABC Supply Interiors’ logistics and delivery team. The position is local with no requirement for over-the-road travel, offering a steady Monday through Friday schedule from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm, making it ideal for individuals seeking a stable work-life balance. This role demands a professional driver who is licensed and certified to operate commercial vehicles safely and responsibly.

The CDL Driver will be responsible for transporting a variety of building materials from the facility to designated job sites. Ensuring the safety and security of each delivery from departure to completion is paramount. The driver must operate delivery vehicles proficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Duties include overseeing the safe loading of the vehicle to verify order accuracy and product condition, expediting unloading at delivery sites, and managing site safety throughout the delivery process.

This role also requires physical activity such as unloading and stocking materials on job sites, sometimes working alongside co-workers. The ability to lift and carry heavy items, up to 250 lbs with assistance, is necessary. Additionally, familiarity with the operation of equipment such as booms, cranes, or Gradalls is required, with crane certification being mandatory. Previous experience with flatbed trucks, drywall boom trucks, semi tractor and trailer combinations, or trailer-mounted forklifts is preferred but not essential.
