This position offers exciting career prospects for CDL-A Drivers dedicated to ensuring the punctual and safe delivery of food and food-related products. The CDL-A Driver will handle a range of driving assignments, including intrastate and interstate routes, local deliveries, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, and occasional overnight routes. This position offers a highly competitive pay starting at $75,000 or more in the first year and includes a $7,500 hiring bonus (terms apply). The role requires a professional disposition, as drivers represent the face of PFG to customers. Drivers are responsible for meticulous safety inspections of their tractors and trailers, adherence to DOT regulations, secure loading and unloading of freight, timely and accurate completion of delivery paperwork, and maintaining the integrity and safety of freight throughout the delivery process. A CDL-A Driver at PFG must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety by conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, identifying and reporting hazards, and following all company and federal guidelines closely.
