This position is for a Food and Food Service Delivery Driver, an essential role in the food supply chain responsible for the safe and timely delivery of food products to customers. As a delivery driver at Core-Mark, you become the face of the company, building lasting relationships through excellent customer service and reliable performance. Drivers play a crucial part in ensuring that all goods arrive in perfect condition and on schedule, supporting the smooth operation of America’s food distribution system.
The role offers competitive pay starting at $29.50 per hour, with the potential to earn between $80,000 to $120,000 annually based on experience and performance. This is a full-time position with a Monday to Friday schedule, delivering on team routes in a safe and inclusive work environment. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid CDL-A license
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements where applicable
- Clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
- Pass road test
- Ability to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight
- Physical ability to lift products ranging from 10 to 90 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A
- Must be 21+ years of age
- Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements where applicable
- Clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years

- Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card or able to secure new DOT Health Card
- Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight
Job Duties
- Perform all required safety checks including pre/post trip inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations
- Inspect tractor/truck and trailer to ensure they meet company safety standards and take appropriate action as needed
- Report all safety issues and repairs required
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies
- Immediately report all safety hazards
- Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
- Perform count check of items and verify customer invoices of products loaded
- Check and complete all required paperwork associated with freight accurately and legibly
- Move tractor to loading dock and attach preloaded trailer as needed
- Drive to and deliver customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule
- Unload products from trailer and transport items into designated customer storage areas
- Perform damage control checks on items, scan, and contact supervisor about removing orders according to company policy
- Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures
- Collect money where required
- Load customer returns onto trailer and secure trailer doors
- Ensure tractor, trailer, and freight are locked and secured
- Unload damaged goods and customer returns and complete necessary paperwork
- Perform daily record of hours of service and enter in compliance with federal, state, and company requirements
- Perform general housekeeping duties in tractor and loading dock area
- Secure all equipment and complete necessary paperwork at the end of shift
- Perform other related duties as assigned
