Core-Mark is currently seeking dedicated and responsible Food and Food Service Delivery Drivers who play a vital role in America’s food supply chain. This home-daily position emphasizes safety, reliability, and professionalism as drivers deliver essential food products to customers on predetermined routes. Drivers at Core-Mark are considered the face of the company, building lasting customer relationships while ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods. The role involves driving tractor-trailers or straight trucks on intrastate, interstate, over-the-road, shuttle, and overnight routes. Delivery Drivers are tasked with following Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, performing pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections, as well as ensuring freight is properly loaded, secured, and delivered. Drivers will be responsible for handling paperwork, verifying deliveries, collecting payments when necessary, and maintaining clean and secure equipment. Compensation during training is $23.50 per hour, with an average earning potential of $75,000 in the first year. The work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday with dispatch times from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. This role is a 100% touch freight delivery position requiring physical ability to handle freight weighing up to 35 pounds generally, and at times up to 60 to 90 pounds depending on location.
