The Delivery Driver role at Core-Mark is a crucial position within the company’s operations, serving as the vital link in America’s food supply chain. This role demands operation of tractor-trailers or straight trucks across intrastate and interstate routes, including local deliveries, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, and drive and drop activities. Drivers must adhere strictly to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, pass safety audits, and execute thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring compliance and safety at all times. Responsibilities also include professional interaction with customers, vendors, and team members; accurate verification and documentation of deliveries; and skillful loading and unloading of freight using appropriate equipment such as hand trucks and lift gates. The ability to perform physical tasks—lifting items ranging between 10 and 90 pounds—is required to efficiently complete delivery assignments.
