This comprehensive benefits package, along with clear growth opportunities, reflects the company's dedication to supporting the welfare and professional advancement of its workforce.

Core-Mark is currently seeking Truck Drivers based in Salt Lake City, offering an outstanding compensation package and exceptional work-life balance. This role involves seven weeks of vacation annually, including every eighth week off for rest, ensuring drivers have ample time to recharge while maintaining their essential contributions to America's food distribution network. Drivers are paid competitively at $30.50 per hour, with additional pay for miles driven, stops made, and unloading tasks. Core-Mark's drivers typically earn between $80,000 and $100,000 annually, reflecting the company's commitment to rewarding hard work and dedication.

This position is available for both day and night shifts, with dispatch times between 1:00 AM to 6:00 AM for day shifts and 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM for night shifts. As a Core-Mark Truck Driver, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring timely and safe delivery of food and food-related products to customers, all while serving as a vital face of the company that builds lasting customer relationships. The role requires adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies, emphasizing compliance, professionalism, and teamwork.

Responsibilities include operating tractor-trailers or straight trucks on various routes — including intrastate, interstate, local, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, and overnight routes — to deliver product efficiently and safely. Drivers conduct pre- and post-trip safety inspections, verify and secure loads, manage delivery paperwork accurately, communicate effectively with customers and the team, and perform general maintenance and housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and secure working environment.

Ideal candidates possess at least one year of tractor-trailer driving experience, hold a valid CDL-A license, and are at least 21 years of age. Maintaining a clean motor vehicle record for the past three years and successfully passing required drug tests, background checks, and road tests are mandatory. Candidates must also have or be able to obtain a valid DOT Health Card and demonstrate physical capability to handle freight safely, including the use of equipment such as two-wheelers and lift gates.

Core-Mark embraces diversity and provides equal employment opportunities irrespective of race, color, national origin, gender identity, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic. The company is committed to complying with all applicable local, state, and federal laws concerning workplace fairness and safety. Joining Core-Mark means becoming part of an esteemed organization where your role directly supports one of the most critical elements of the nation’s economy — the food supply chain — with the added benefit of substantial financial rewards, job security, and career advancement opportunities.
