The Combination Driver/Dockworker role at Old Dominion is a critical position that combines freight handling and transportation duties to ensure the efficient and safe delivery of goods. As a Combination Driver/Dockworker, the selected candidate will support the company’s logistics operations by loading and unloading freight using motorized forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual methods in accordance with federal and state Department of Transportation regulations. They will also be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailer combinations to deliver freight between company service centers and customer locations within the designated geographic area. The role demands flexibility as shifts may include third shift, evenings, weekends, and some holidays to meet business needs and customer schedules.
