Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree and 4 or more years of experience in the claims or operations area
- High school diploma or equivalent and 6 or more years of experience in the claims or operations area
- Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an associate degree and 4 or more years of experience in the claims or operations area
- Strong customer service acumen
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Knowledge of business intelligence or other data systems
Job Qualifications
- Bachelors degree with 4 or more years of claims or operations experience
- High school diploma or equivalent with 6 or more years of claims or operations experience
- Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an associate degree and 4 or more years claims or operations experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of business intelligence or other data systems
- Insurance industry experience preferred
- Ability to interact with multiple management levels
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
Job Duties
- Partnering with underwriting to communicate and sell claims value proposition to mid-size, moderately complex accounts
- Researching and responding to claims service needs of prospective and current customers
- Developing and delivering marketing presentations and claims service proposals
- Handling customer service issues and coordinating resolution with internal and external resources
- Building lasting relationships with customers and brokers to increase satisfaction and retention
- Ensuring confidentiality of claims information
- Participating in projects and maintaining professional knowledge through educational opportunities and professional networks
