Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree and 4 or more years of experience in the claims or operations area
  • High school diploma or equivalent and 6 or more years of experience in the claims or operations area
  • Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an associate degree and 4 or more years of experience in the claims or operations area
  • Strong customer service acumen
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Knowledge of business intelligence or other data systems

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree with 4 or more years of claims or operations experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 6 or more years of claims or operations experience
  • Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an associate degree and 4 or more years claims or operations experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of business intelligence or other data systems
  • Insurance industry experience preferred
  • Ability to interact with multiple management levels
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills

Job Duties

  • Partnering with underwriting to communicate and sell claims value proposition to mid-size, moderately complex accounts
  • Researching and responding to claims service needs of prospective and current customers
  • Developing and delivering marketing presentations and claims service proposals
  • Handling customer service issues and coordinating resolution with internal and external resources
  • Building lasting relationships with customers and brokers to increase satisfaction and retention
  • Ensuring confidentiality of claims information
  • Participating in projects and maintaining professional knowledge through educational opportunities and professional networks
