The Café Barista and Bartender role at CITY HOME is a dynamic and customer-facing position located in Wesley, reporting directly to the Showroom Director or Senior Showroom Manager within the Sales and Retail Operations department. This role is essential to enhancing the overall customer experience by preparing and serving high-quality coffee, baked goods, and alcoholic beverages in the CITY Café and wine bar. In addition to serving beverages and food items, the associate will manage cash and credit transactions through the cash register efficiently. A key part of this role includes participating in special events such as "Wine & Design," showroom grand openings, and other tent pole events, making the associate a pivotal part of the team that supports and promotes the showroom’s community engagement activities. The position offers hourly compensation ranging from $15 to $18.50, providing both full-time (40 hours) and part-time (32 hours) scheduling flexibility, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

The Café Barista and Bartender at CITY HOME is expected to uphold standards of quality control, inventory management, and cleanliness according to ServSafe guidelines, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for customers. The role demands strong interpersonal skills like social intelligence, effective communication, professionalism, and teamwork to provide world-class service. The associate is also tasked with suggestive selling and upselling techniques to maximize sales and meet monthly sales goals. This position requires physical endurance involving prolonged standing, lifting items weighing over 20 pounds, bending, reaching, and cleaning duties. Technical skills such as familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Suite are also advantageous. The company prefers candidates with a high school diploma and one to three years of food service experience. Those with ServSafe certification and a valid Florida driver’s license are considered favorably, although certification is not mandatory. Associates must be at least 21 years old due to the handling of alcoholic beverages.
