The company emphasizes a customer-centric culture where employees are encouraged to listen, collaborate, and contribute innovative ideas, which fosters a supportive and rewarding working environment. At Citizens, employee growth and community commitment are paramount, offering career advancement opportunities and resources to help team members sharpen their skills and excel professionally. The Citizens Teller position offers candidates the chance to join a vibrant and dynamic team at the bank’s branch locations. Starting at a competitive salary of $21 per hour and up, the teller role is designed for individuals who are passionate about delivering personalized financial services and exceptional customer experiences. As a teller, you will be the first point of contact for customers within the branch, greeting them warmly and assisting with a variety of transactional services both in person and through digital channels. The role requires a comfort with technology, as you will often demonstrate the use of the bank’s mobile app and ATM systems to help customers complete transactions seamlessly. Beyond processing transactions, the teller’s role is to identify opportunities to assist customers with their broader financial goals by providing insightful product information and facilitating connections with specialized bankers.

This position offers meaningful work where you directly influence customers’ financial wellbeing, whether they are building a business, purchasing a home, or planning for their future. Citizens supports its tellers with extensive training and career development programs, ensuring continued growth and skill enhancement. The role requires a keen understanding of the bank’s policies and regulations to ensure compliance and secure cash handling. You will work in a fast-paced environment where customer satisfaction and operational accuracy are paramount. Shifts may vary, including evenings and weekends, to support branch hours and customer needs. Citizens emphasizes a culture of respect, professionalism, and inclusiveness, making it an ideal workplace for individuals who value collaboration, customer focus, and community engagement.
