The Prep position at CiCi's Pizza plays a vital role in the day-to-day production and preparation of the restaurant's fresh products. This role is pivotal for maintaining the high standards CiCi's is known for, requiring someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while fostering a friendly and energetic work atmosphere. The Prep is responsible for preparing essential ingredients such as dough, sauces, and cheese daily, strictly following the company's recipes to ensure consistency and quality in every dish served. This position also involves maintaining food safety standards, driving cleanliness in the workspace, and supporting the kitchen operations, including making and cutting pizzas. Candidates in this role will also assist with inventory management by placing orders and properly storing received goods. Additionally, the Prep will help onboard new hires by training them in back-of-house functions, ensuring that each team member meets the operational standards set forth by CiCi's. Physical endurance is required, as the role involves standing for extended periods and lifting weights up to 25 pounds. While prior restaurant experience is beneficial, it is not a strict requirement, making this an excellent opportunity for those looking to start or develop their career in the food service industry.
