Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
Prior restaurant experience preferred
Prior hosting experience preferred
Ability to stand for prolonged periods
Ability to lift fifty pounds
Good communication skills
Friendly and outgoing personality
Flexibility to work alternating shifts
Excellent organizational skills
Attention to detail

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred
Prior restaurant experience preferred
Prior hosting experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills including dealing with difficult and rude patrons
Good communication skills and phone etiquette
Positive attitude and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with local areas and ability to provide directions and maps to local attractions and destinations
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Job Duties

Greet incoming guests when they enter and exit the restaurant and acknowledge each guest by name
Take reservations
Answer incoming phone calls
Seat guests
Assist servers
Serve food if required
Regularly check cleanliness of restrooms
Observe and report any potential issues in the bar, parking lot, and restaurant area to management
Assist customers with any difficulties or escalate problems to management
Perform additional duties as assigned
