The Front Desk Coordinator position is a vital role within a dynamic church environment, focused on supporting the daily operations at the HUB and serving as an administrative backbone to the Operations Director, HR Director, and the creative team. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in event coordination or administrative roles, preferably in a church environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with Planning Center software
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under deadlines
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work Sunday mornings and flexible hours during peak event times
Job Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Website management experience
- Ability to work independently and under strict deadlines
- Experience managing people and working with volunteers
- 1-3 years of related experience coordinating events in a church setting
- Experience with Planning Center
- Payroll processing experience a plus
Job Duties
- Answer the phones and greet visitors at the HUB daily
- Support the Operations Director and creative team with managing content and digital presence
- Coordinate and process volunteer applications using Planning Center workflows
- Maintain and audit volunteer files for compliance with human resource guidelines
- Act as Volunteer Coordinator for Sunday Ushers, Greeters, New Guest Desk, Volunteer Desk, HUB info desk, Special Sunday Services, and All Church Events
- Coordinate Special Sunday and All Church Events logistics and communicate with the Events Pastor for outside event requests
- Order supplies and assist in cleanup for special events including laundry of towels and linens
