Chris N Eddy's is a fast-casual slider restaurant that opened its doors in August 2021, founded by childhood friends Chris and Eddy. This restaurant focuses on providing quick, satisfying meals made from fresh ingredients in a clean and welcoming environment. The role of Grill Cook/Line Cook at Chris N Eddy's is vital to the success of daily restaurant operations. This position requires a fast-paced, detail-oriented individual who can effectively prepare food, maintain cleanliness, and ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include food preparation, grilling beef patties, managing kitchen safety and sanitation, and promptly resolving any kitchen-related questions or issues. The Grill Cook/Line Cook must follow the company’s training program closely to develop the skills necessary for success and contribute positively to the team's overall performance.

As a Grill Cook/Line Cook, you will be expected to maintain a fast speed of service, communicate effectively with supervisors and team members, and adhere to all safety and security procedures. You will play an essential role in greeting guests, recording orders, answering questions, and serving food and beverages with a consistently positive and helpful attitude. Working closely with coworkers, you will prepare menu items according to cooking instructions while following strict safety and sanitary guidelines to ensure both food quality and workplace cleanliness.

Daily duties also include maintaining restaurant cleanliness by clearing tables, sweeping and mopping floors, sanitizing utensils, and servicing restrooms. Handling guests’ concerns professionally and calmly, you will ensure that every visitor has an enjoyable experience. Attention to detail in your appearance by following the uniform policy is also important, helping to represent the company’s brand in a professional manner.

Candidates should be at least 18 years old and able to handle the physical demands of the job, including standing for long periods, bending, stooping, working around heat, and lifting up to 75 pounds comfortably. Reliable transportation and good communication with supervisors and fellow team members are also essential for success in this role.
